Michael van Ginkel's former teaching roles
Since I am no longer a member of the Quantitative Imaging group,
formerly known as the Pattern Recognition Group, I've removed this
bit from my main page. Still interesting for historic reasons though,
as well as providing some (still useful) links...
Systems and Signals
During the academic years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 I have been partly
responsible for the second year course "Systems and Signals" for students
of Applied Physics and, in 2002-2003, Earth Sciences as well.
Lucas van Vliet maintains the
Systems and Signals page.
Laboratory courses
I have set up a laboratory course on ``Advanced Multi-dimensional
Image Analysis'' which is part of the following two courses:
The topic of this laboratory course is measurement: length, area, bending energy
(see
Lucas van Vliet's publication list), orientation, curvature
(see
my publications and
Bernd Rieger's publications)
and optical flow (by Bernd Rieger).
I also help out during the (other) laboratory exercises of
